Hotels in Shanghai no longer provide a certain number of disposable necessities such as toothbrush, comb and shaver starting from July 1 as part of a city-wide campaign to cut down waste. Guests are encouraged to bring their own toiletries during their stays. But, if guests request, hotels will still offer them for free.
