The fifth Dingsheng Lantern Festival was opened to the public on 31st January 2018! With over 50 groups of lanterns that came in all shapes and sizes illuminated Chengde at night. Apart from lanterns there was also ice sculptures to attract more tourists. In addition to the carved ice exhibition, visitors can also watch folk performances and taste local foods this year. The fifth lantern festival lasts until 2nd March.
