Our guide will pick you up at the airport or your hotel in Shanghai and then drive you to Ningbo. You will see the Hangzhou Bay Bridge, which is the longest cross-sea bridge in the world. Today we will have a full day sightseeing tour of Tianyi Pavilion and Ayuwang Temple. Afterwards, our guide will transfer you to the hotel and help you check in.
Tianyi Pavilion, also known as Tian Yi Ge, is a private library and garden located in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. Founded in 1561 by Fan Qin, an official in Qing Dynasty, Tianyi Pavilion is the oldest existing private library in China. Besides its collection of 30,000 volumes of antique books, there are also collections of calligraphy, paintings and exquisite handicrafts. Tianyi Pavilion is also a very beautiful garden with natural features of lake, corridors, artificial hills, pavilions, steles and trees.
Ayuwang Temple is an ancient temple located east of Ningbo in Zhejiang Province. It is the only remaining temple in China named after the Indian king and Buddhist proselytizer. It was originally built in 282 A.D. during the Western Jin Dynasty and is considered one of the four most famous Buddhist temples in east Zhejiang.

Dongqian Lake

After your hotel breakfast, our guide will pick you up and transfer you to Dongqian Lake. You will hike around Dongqian Lake for four hours to fully enjoy the beauty of the lake and relax yourself.
After the hiking, our guide will transfer you back to Shanghai and drop you off at your hotel.
Dongqian Lake is the largest freshwater lake in Zhejiang province. It is located in the southeast of Yinzhou District, 15 kilometers from Ningbo in Zhejiang province. The lake occupies an area of 22 square kilometers and is consists of Guzi Lake, North Lake and South Lake. With green mountain in the southeast and grassland in the west, Dongqian Lake attracts tourists for the picturesque mountains, crystal clear water, historical heritages and profound cultural background.
