    Xiamen Hotel to Guanglangyu Island

    Xiamen Hotel to Guanglangyu Island

    Attraction & Activities:

    Gulangyu Island, Hi-Heaven, Shuzhuang Garden, Piano Museum, South Putuo Temple, Hulishan Fortress & Ring Road

    You will be picked up from your hotel or cruise terminal in the morning. Afterwards you will be transferred to the ferry for a 7 minute boat trip to Gulangyu Island.

    Take a peaceful walk and appreciate various old buildings before visiting Hi-Heaven, the largest old villa on the island where you can enjoy the ancient South Music performances and traditional Puppet Show. Visit

    You will also make a visit to Shuzhuang Garden, a beautiful seaside garden and the famous Piano Museum which has a collection of 80-fold rare old pianos from all over the world.

    Afterwards visit South Putuo Temple, the most famous Buddhist temple in town and Hulishan Fortress, which houses the world's biggest canon for coastal defense followed by a scenic drive on Ring Road which will take you along the east coast of Xiamen. After you will be transferred back to your hotel in Xiamen. 

    Gulangyu Island: Many buildings on the island showing both the Chinese and foreign architectural styles have been well preserved. Hence why Gulangyu Island is known as the "Gallery of International Architectural".

    Shuzhuang Garden: 
    It is a private villa first constructed in 1913 by Lin Erjia, a wealthy businessman from Taiwan. Shuzhuang Garden is known for its well-constructed layout and borrowed scenes. 

    Piano Museum:
     Located in the Hall of Roaring Tides in Shuzhuang Garden, the Piano Museum covers an area of nearly 1,000 square meters. Piano museum Xiamen is the only museum in China displaying various kinds of antique pianos from different countries in the world.

    South Putuo Temple: The South Putuo Temple was first constructed in the Tang Dynasty, and was destroyed time and again in the following dynasties. In the 23rd year of Kangxi regin (1684) of Qing Dynasty, it was rebuilt again. 

    Hualiashan Fortress: 
    Huilishan Fortress is situated in the Hulishan seashore at the southern end of Xiamen Island. It is a famous sightseeing around Xiamen.The scenic area includes the castle for holding the fort, the military camp area and landscape zone in the north.

    Ring Road: Built around the sea, the Ring Road is located in the southeast of Xiamen Island. It stretches from the ferry port and then goes through the Yanwu Bridge, Hulishan Canon platform, as well as Wuyuan Bay and airport, with a total length of 31 kilometers.
