Mugetso Lake

Today you will be transferred to Mugetso Lake, where you can trek around the lake area. In the afternoon you will return to Kangding.
Mugetso Lake: Mugetso Lake is also called Yeren Lake. It has an altitude of 3,700 meters and is one of the highest alpine lakes in western Sichuan. Surrounded by the high mountains, dense forests, and luxuriant meadows, and many lakes of different sizes, the Mugetso Lake is like a crystal pearl lying in the middle, shining with colorful views.

Gongga Monastery

Trekking through Zimeiya pass (can see Minya Gangkar Mountain). You will cross Zhimi Village where you will have lunch. You will continue trekking to Gongga Monastery where you will meet local lamas and monks. Tonight you will camp around the monastery.
