Pickup by our English speaking tour guide from Chongqing airport or railway station. Transfer to take cruise. If you arrive in the morning, we will arrange a half day city tour in Chongqing.

Your Chongqing exploration will begin with a visit to Ciqikou Ancient Town. The Ciqikou Ancient Town is located on the bank of Jialing River. The history of Ciqikou can be dated back to more than 1700 years ago. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911), the town had a great reputation as its production of porcelain and this is how Ciqikou got its name. Ciqikou Ancient Town is a miniature of ancient Chongqing and its life. When you travel to Ciqikou, you will experience and enjoy the ancient Chongqing life and culture by relaxing at its numerous tea houses, tasting delicious Chongqing food and snacks there, and strolling at those workshops selling exquisite Shu Embroideries and unique handicrafts.

Next arranged attraction to see will be the Three Gorges Museum. The Three Gorges Museum is a professional cultural and educational museum for the preservation, research and study, and exhibition of cultural relics and natural environment of Chongqing and the Three Gorges Area. It is a specialized museum for the Three Gorges, but also a comprehensive museum with a large collection of artistic and cultural relics. Visiting the Three Gorge Museum, you will get to know about the specific history of the Three Gorges Dam and the project, also you will learn the history and culture of Chongqing by the collections and exhibitions.

Dazhu Grottoes Tour

You will go to Dazhu to see the famous Dazhu Grottoes.

Dazhu Grottoes: 165 kilometers away from Chongqing, more than 40 sites of stone carvings with over 50,000 statues of Buddha completed from the late Tang Dynasty (618-907) to the Song Dynasty (960-1279). ranked as a world cultural heffitage site in 1999.

Afterwards, our guide will transfer you to the ship pier to board the cruise ship. The boarding time will be 5:00PM - 8:00PM. Our Yangtze Gold Series cruise ship will depart Chongqing at 10:00PM.

Yangtze River is the longest river in China with a total length of 6,300 kilometers. The Yangtze River flows through many famous historical, cultural and economic cities and it paly quite an important role in the history, culture and economy of China. Along the Yangtze River, there are numerous natural beautiful scenic sites, historical and cultural relics to see and enjoy. While a Yangtze River cruise is a great wall to appreciate the beauty of Yangtze River and the sites along the river.

Today you will have a shore excursion at Fengdu Ghost City at 8:00AM - 10:00AM. Situated at the northern bank of the Yangtze River and 176 kilometers downstream from Chongqing, Fengdu has been well known as the "Ghost City" since the Eastern Han Dynasty in China. Generally speaking, it is the first destination for the Three Gorges cruise from Chongqing, and is a very popular shore excursion site for tourists on the Yangtze River. Visitors to the Ghost City will be astonished by the artisanship of the ancient craftsmen, the unique styles of architecture and the uniqueness of the ghost culture.

Today we will continue our Yangzte River Cruise. You will enjoy the elegant and beautiful scenery of mountains, rocks, river, forest, fresh air and unique local sights along the cruise.

In the afternoon, you will have the shore excursion to Shennong Stream from 1:30PM - 5:30PM. Shennong Stream includes threer gorges of Mianzhu Gorge, Parrot Gorge and Longcangdong Gorge. Deep and dangerous, steep and unusual, primitive and elegant, Shennong Stream stuns visitors with its stream, peaks, rocks, caves and shoals. An excursion on the Shennong Stream with a wooden boat is the best way not only to enjoy the natural beauty and historic sites along the Shennong Stream, but also an extraordinary experience to learn more and know more about local culture and customs of the Tujia People.

Leave from Yichang
Attraction & Activities:
Cruise pier Transfer (Yichang), Airport Transfer (Yichang), Shore excursion to The Three Gorges Dam Site. Arrive in Yichang at 1:00pm.

We will pass the ship locks at 5am. The Ship Locks make the shipping through the Three Gorges more safe. Each of the two ship locks is made up of five stages, taking around four hours in total to transit, and has a vessel capacity of 10,000 tons.

Shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam Site

Three Gorges Dam is an engineering marvel. This world’s largest hydroelectric structure regulates navigation on the Yangtze River, controls floods and generates enormous quantities of electrical power. It is the first hydropower project completely researched, designed and built by Chinese.

At 12:00 to 13:00, we will arrive at Yichang. After disembarked, our guide will transfer you to the Yichang airport and help you board your departure flight. Wish you a pleasant trip back home!
