Xinjiang First UNESCO Geopark Opens in Keketuohai

The Keketuohai UNESCO Global Geopark in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region opened to the public on October 14, becoming the country's 35th state-level geopark in the list of the UNESCO Global Geoparks. Nicknamed “China’s Yosemite” after the famous US national park, Keketuohai is full of stunning natural sceneries including towering walls of granite rock, beautiful white birch forests, the breathtaking Irtish River and many more.
