Macau resumed receiving tours on Saturday after the Government Tourism Office had earlier requested local travel agencies to suspend tour groups to the city after the serious damage caused by Typhoon Hato. The catastrophic storm swept through Macau on 23 August, left 10 dead and hotels and households without water and electricity supply. With the help of People’s Liberation Army in cleaning and relief operations, the city has steadily recovered from the destruction.
