Lhasa’s Potala Palace, a world heritage site in Tibet offers free entry to visitors from October 15, 2019 to March 15, 2020. This visitor-friendly policy is part of the region’s third round of promoting winter tourism. The ticket price is 200 RMB during the peak season from May 1 to October 31, and 100 RMB for the winter from November 1 to April 30. Visitors can book tickets through the official website or at the ticket office with their ID cards, and each person can reserve up to four tickets.
