On June 12, 2019, it was announced that the direct High-speed train from Chongqing to Hong Kong tickets are now available to purchase. First class tickets are priced at 1,056 Yuan and second class tickets are 660 Yuan. Business class tickets were sold out in 3 minutes. Prior to the availability of the direct high-speed train, travellers would have to take high-speed train from Chongqing to Guangzhou or Guiyang and then transfer.
